Overview

Citizens Advice Bureau Bath & North East Somerset is an independent charity that provides free, impartial advice and information on a range of issues. We can help with most everyday problems from employment to housing and debt.

What we do

Our specially trained staff and volunteers provide high quality advice in a number of ways:

Online - www.adviceguide.org.uk

Information and self help guides are provided for you to use to support yourself.

Telephone - You can call us for advice over the phone. If we are unable to help you on the phone, or feel you would benefit from a 1:1 session, we will invite you to attend an appointment.

Face 2 Face - When you come to one of our drop-in sessions at the One Stop Shop in Manvers Street you will have a short initial interview to help decide how you can be best advised. This may then be followed up by a longer appointment.

We also visit a number of locations across Bath & North East Somerset for outreach:

• Children's Centres (including Bath, Keynsham, Chew, Midsomer Norton, Paulton, Peasedown)
• Southdown Infants School (every Thursday morning during term time)
• Advice Van   (Timsbury) – Conygre Hall – 10am – 1pm – 1^st and 3^rd Wednesday
• Batheaston GP Surgery (Monday afternoons, every fortnight)
• Fairfield Park GP Surgery (Wednesday mornings, every fortnight)
• Combe Down GP Surgery (Wednesday afternoons, every fortnight)
