The Langley House Trust (LHT) exists to help men and women who have offended or who are at risk of offending, to remain crime free, to reduce their dependence on harmful substances, to manage conditions which adversely affect their behaviour and to improve their individual potential in a range of areas, so that all service users become welcome contributors in their communities.
The LHT offers a wide range of residential and support services nationally to men and women aged 18 years and over.
House of St. Martin is Langley’s flagship care home. It is a registered care home for men with multiple needs, including substance misuse issues, mental health needs or a learning disability. It is particularly suited for men who require disabled access.

The House of St Martin Project is 3 miles from Taunton, set in 6 acres of countryside. Our 19 single bed rooms, all are full board catering with shared bathing, laundry and other facilities.
There is a minimum of double staffing cover during office hours and then a minimum of single staffing cover at all other times, including night security staff in place from 10pm-8am each day/night. Additional staffing is in place to care for men with health care needs
The House of St Martin prides itself on two things, training for independence and improving employability. The project has a training kitchen to help men to get ready for independent living by self catering when they are ready. All men at HSM are encouraged to structure their time with activities which help them to gain qualifications, improve their employability (literacy and numeracy training) and which are fun. The bicycle maintenance project is going from strength to strength and this is one of the most popular activities alongside horticulture and computer training.
We also offer a floating support service for 11 offenders living in the community in Somerset.
The House of St Martin is based just outside Taunton in Somerset and is set in 6 acres of countryside.
